Testimonials
Working closely with Linda Bowman for two years, I watched her help writers turn half-formulated ideas and rough drafts into polished manuscripts. She’s a writing coach, editor and teacher rolled into one, with an uncanny ability to find the perfect voice, angle and structure for any piece of writing. From substantive editing, to copyediting, to proofreading, I found her editorial expertise indispensable.
With Linda’s help, my articles for Joy Magazine sparkled and my book proposal caught the eye of my “dream” publisher. I was looking for an expert wordsmith with integrity and a “we-can” attitude, and found much more with her!
When I purchased The Green Book three years ago, I needed a second pair of eyes to ensure the text portion of my annual publication sounded professional. When you are the only editor, you’re nervous you might miss something— although you read through submissions countless times! I was familiar with Linda’s hard working, intelligent, precise style from being at the same workplace years ago and was so fortunate to find her at a networking fair. She does a wonderful job of carefully going through my entire publication, often catching things I don’t catch. Thanks, Linda, for continuing to make The Green Book a professional looking publication!
Every writer needs another professional set of eyes to review her work. Linda Bowman of The Writing Center is mine. She keeps me on my toes—and at my computer! Thanks, Linda, for helping me become a better writer.
